..After 4 great years of having our store on Orchard Street we will be happily returning to our roots of the flea markets for now. We will be having a big sale in the store on our last weekend, 13th/14th and 15th November and everything will be 50%off so come in, have a glass of champagne and check out that thang you've been eyeing.
We will continue to sell at the Brooklyn Flea Market Saturday and Sundays, last days outdoors 21/22nd November and starting indoors in Dumbo both Saturday and Sundays on 5th December 81 Front Street, Brooklyn. We are really grateful to you, all our customers, that have discovered us on Orchard St and to the many of you out there that have known us since our Chelsea Flea Market days, we appreciate that you keep coming back and spreading the word about us. Goodbye Orchard Street..It's been nice knowing you

The time has come for us to close the store on Orchard Street and move on, we will be closing Orchard Street November 15th, if you've been planning on visiting the store, this is the deadline. We are happy to be moving on an upbeat note with a great success in London and a bunch of editorials and press for Hairy Mary's in the coming month ahead. . We are really excited to move on to the next stage and face of Hairy Mary's with more time to work on our other creative projects and ideas. Look out for some new reconstructed designs I will be introducing to our line and will keep you posted with what's happening here on the home front.

Great having a Hairy Mary's Vintage presence in London, my hometown for the month of October, even my Mum is going to attend some of the events, so don't miss out on the fun. The event will also include live sets from London DJs, Local Business Discount Day, and events from the Ladies Lotto Block Party.

What to wear for that spring/summer fun in the sun?

Just got back from a great shopping trip and have been filling the store with some fun vintage spring and summer frocks, cool shoes and some great hats keeping you all styled up for that special event dress to feel fabulous in or something fun and funky to wear to work, brunch, dinner, or just walking round town enjoying the sunshine.

Textile swatches are now in the store so pass this onto any textile designers who might be interested.

Ugly Betty and Fashion Week Feb 09

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Just saw the movie 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' and was delighted to see Sue, Rebecca's best friend (the coolest one in the movie) wearing a fave Hairy Mary's Vintage dress from the 1960's. Luckily, I had done a photoshoot with fab photographer Charise Isis isisimages.net a week before it was snapped up by the costume designer Molly Rogers for the movie. The tartan cape and the green wide belt Rebecca wore was also from Hairy Mary's. Check out the movie, it was really fun and all of us who love to shop could relate a teensy, weensey little bit to Rebecca..
